Cloud based disaster recovery solution

Disaster Recovery – Payroll Company

TechSolvers were engaged to create a cloud based disaster recovery solution with high Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO); RPO expectation set at 15-30mins and Recovery Time Objective set between 1 and 2 hours.

The client had two servers hosting their payroll systems for 1000 UK based employees, in the event of a disaster, or even a prolonged internet outage, the business would be at operational risk.

By utilising the technologies outlined below, TechSolvers were able to Virtualise the payroll company’s Environment. Using Site Recovery we were able to take snapshots of the environment every 15 minutes. In tested failover scenarios Recovery time is approximately 45 minute.

Managed Secure Build – National Retailer

A national retailer approached TechSolvers to create an operating system build for approximately 50 locations nationwide. The solution is to be used by the general public within each store and should be protected from any malicious threat, both externally from the internet and internally from any unauthorised usage.

By leveraging a combination of best practices and services from the technologies outlined below. TechSolvers were able to create a high security build, which was deployed remotely.

The solution passed some of the best penetration testing methods available based on the physical security of the devices. The solution delivered is now being used, is fit for purpose and meets all requirements outlined by the client.

Cloud based disaster recovery solution

By utilising InfraScale as a Disaster Recovery solution, TechSolvers were able to install an appliance locally to provide Disaster Recovery Services.

Disaster Recovery – Legal Firm

TechSolvers were engaged to create a cloud based disaster recovery solution, along with the ability to protect the business from individual server failures.

The client has three servers hosting their Legal Systems, remote access and file services for worldwide staff. In the event of a disaster, single server failure or even a prolonged internet outage, their business operation would be at risk. After a thorough consultation and evaluation period, working alongside the client, the recovery point objective (RPO) was deemed to be 24 Hours and the recovery time objective (RTO) was established as being between 1 and 2 hours. In addition if a single server were to fail, the ability to recover locally until hardware is replaced was also deemed to be a critical requirement.

By utilising Infrascale as a Disaster Recovery solution, TechSolvers were able to install an appliance locally to provide Disaster Recovery Services that were configured to meet the client’s objectives and also within tight cost constraints.

Design and Build of IT Infrastructure– National Retailer

A national retailer approached TechSolvers to design and implement a full IT System, including best in class enterprise network. The system is to be used within a large distribution warehouse and should be secured across business units. For example only warehouse floor personnel are restricted to utilise services / data aligned to their business functions. Various infrastructure enhancements were also required for vendor control systems.

TechSolvers successfully designed and implemented a full infrastructure refresh, to support Vendor based systems, People and Finance systems in line with the client’s operational, security and business continuity requirements. The solution comprised of the technologies outlined below:

Hosted email migration

Hosted Email Migration – Safety Deposit Firm

After consultation a safety deposit company instructed TechSolvers to migrate all of their legacy Email systems to a secure Cloud Email Provider. TechSolvers managed the entire migration and communicated with key stakeholders throughout the process.

Utilising the Microsoft Office 365 Cutover Migration best practices; TechSolvers successfully met the clients requirements by migrating all mailboxes, contacts and calendars with no loss of data and ensured the new email service was made available to staff within the agreed timeframes, with minimum impact to business operation.

Workflow Automation – International Food Supplier

An international food supplier approached TechSolvers to help standardise their workflow automation procedures for documentations standards critical to the business.

Utilising the tools available in SharePoint online software, TechSolvers designed and implemented a solution with workflow processes that underpinned the client’s business approval and automation procedures.
